Courtesy visit to H.E. Hun Many Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Civil Service

JCA Association members and Asakuchi City, Okayama Prefecture visited H.E. Hun Many Minister of Civil Service and Deputy Prime Minister .

However, H.E. Hun Many was unable to attend due to urgent business, so the meeting was discussed with H.E. Sok Sabayna Vice-Minister.

The Ministry of Civil Service is responsible for “employment of staff,” “digitization of ministries and agencies,” and “reforms to encourage efficient work execution.”
Under the new administration, we have proceeded with the disciplinary dismissal of public servants involved in corruption, drug use, etc.

In addition, in order to hire excellent human resources, we are introducing a civil service examination. To this end, we have issued a government ordinance stipulating new personnel management practices.

The Ministry of Civil Service reported on “specific actions and status reports regarding measures,” “introducing a variable bonus system for improving employee capabilities and work performance,” and “recruitment for civil service examinations.”

From our association,  H.E. Takahashi Chairman of JCA reported on JCA’s activity policy and the establishment of a Cambodian office.
Corporate members Nippon Koei, Mitsubishi Corporation, and local representatives from Mitsui & Co., Ltd. gave business reports.
Mr. Kato, the Executive Director, gave an update on the progress of projects being carried out by JCA corporate members in Cambodia. In 2024, iLBRiLLE Co., Ltd. will open a beauty school, and Hikari Jidosha Co., Ltd. will start a partnership with an auto mechanic school. Next Make Co., Ltd. plans to open an IT school, and Hitotoki Holdings, a general incorporated association, plans to open a nursing school this year.

As JCA’s future promotion projects, we introduced a solution to garbage disposal, which is a social issue in Cambodia, and an advertising project that utilizes SNS such as TikTok.
