Objective

The Association will carry out the following activities with the following objectives.

• To promote mutual understanding and deepen friendly relations between Japan and Cambodia.
• Cooperate in Cambodia’s economic and social development.
• To promote trade investment and other economic relations between the two countries.
• To promote exchanges in culture, education, sports and other various fields.
• To contribute to peace and prosperity in Asia based on deep mutual understanding and trust.

Business

The Association’s projects are as follows.

1. 01.Research and study of the situation in Cambodia (including history, language, culture, economy, society, politics, diplomacy and security) and dissemination of the results of such research and study Research and dissemination of the results of such research and dissemination of the results of such research and dissemination of the results of such research and study.
2. 02.Dissemination of knowledge and information about Japan and Cambodia in the other country by various means.
3. 03.Activities related to exchange between the two countries in the fields of economy, tourism, science and technology, culture, arts, education, sports, and other fields.
4. 04.Projects contributing to the development of human resources in Cambodia, the preservation of its cultural assets, its humanitarian, human rights and medical welfare, and other projects contributing to its economic and social development.
5. 05.Advice, mediation and support for Japanese companies expanding into Cambodia.
6. 06.Assistance to nationals of both countries who are visiting or staying in the other country (including that related to exchanges with nationals of the other country).
7. 07.Supporting and cooperating with non-governmental, non-profit organizations of both countries in their activities in the other country and promoting exchanges between these organizations in both countries.
8. 08.Exchange of students, teachers and researchers between the two countries, and support or cooperation for their travel and other living arrangements.
9. 09.Invitation of Cambodian researchers to Japan and dispatch of Japanese researchers to Cambodia.
10. 10.Dissemination of the other country’s language in both countries (including compilation of a Japanese-Khmer dictionary).
11. 11.Gathering opinions on relations between Japan and Cambodia and disseminating recommendations that contribute to the promotion of such relations.
12. 12.Promotion of mutual interaction among members.
