Project Outline

In order to contribute to the realization of sustainable living and agriculture in Cambodia, where droughts occur frequently due to the effects of climate change, we have demonstrated the effectiveness of lining ponds with floating lids in securing water resources and water quality.

Background of the project implementation

In Cambodia, many people work in agriculture, but many regions rely on rainwater, and it is difficult to have sufficient water resources due to climate change such as droughts. The lining ponds with floating lids secure the rainwater effectively and contribute to improving the lives of people.

Thoughts on the project

We can contribute to improving people’s lives with the lining ponds with floating lids.

Future Plans

We will also proceed with the introduction of water treatment facilities, suppress deterioration of water quality, and diversify water uses such as domestic water and drinking water through ensuring stable water quality and water resources.
