Over two days, Chairman H.E. Takahashi, Secretary General Mr. Kato, and Managing Director Mr. Tanaka participated.

It was a very valuable opportunity to hear various stories from representatives from each country all at once. It was also an opportunity for me to learn about the advantages and disadvantages of expanding and investing in Cambodia.

Particularly interesting was the talk by former Malaysian Prime Minister H.E. Mahathir, famous for his “Look East Policy”.

When the moderator asked questions about diplomacy, such as the Republic of the Union of Myanmar within ASEAN, and the relationship between China and the United States, the discussion began with “tolerance.”
It was an opportunity to reaffirm that this is important not only in diplomacy but also in the business world

This was made possible by former Prime Minister H.E. Mahathir when our association’s Chairman Takahashi asked him to give a lecture on the “Look East Policy” in Cambodia when he was ambassador to Cambodia.

The lecture was held at the CJCC in the presence of Prime Minister Samdech Hun Sen and other key ministers.
When I took the stage this time, I learned that I was an old friend of Chairman H.E. Takahashi.

We will create an environment in which this powerful relationship can be leveraged for the benefit of JCA members.
