Interview regarding Cambodia business
We would like to inform you that on Wednesday, June 14th, we held a meeting between two organizations operating in Cambodia, and from our association, Chairman H.E. Takahashi, Secretary General Mr. Kato, and Public Relations Director Ms. Nakama attended.
1. International Cooperation NGO Kaze no Kai, Specified Nonprofit Corporation,
The Kaze no Kai, which is made up of approximately 100 members mainly students from Waseda University, provides educational support in Cambodia and Laos, and continues to work towards a society where all children can have hope.
Although they are building schools based in Battambang and have a track record of building three schools in Cambodia and one in Laos, they were faced with the challenge of continuing student-led support activities in Cambodia.
They listened intently to the passionate advice from Chairman H.E. Takahashi and Secretary General Mr. Kato, and said, “We are very honored that they are taking students like us seriously. We will keep this in mind and continue to work hard to grow up,” with shining eyes, which was impressive.
2. Japan Heart, Specified Nonprofit Organization
The organization provides approximately 25,000 cases of treatment, including free advanced medical care such as pediatric cancer surgery, in Japan and abroad, mainly in Southeast Asia, with a cumulative total of more than 300,000 cases per year.
In 2008, the organization started its activities for the development of medical care in Cambodia, and is currently working hard on new projects.
”Our knowledge expanded as we were able to hear specific stories. We now have a better understanding of what we should do next. we am grateful to have been given such a valuable opportunity.”
Through direct interviews with Chairman H.E. Takahashi and Secretary General Mr. Kato, JCA were able to improve our association’s visibility, trustworthiness, and alliance opportunities.
As the number of association members increases, we will continue to carry out public relations efforts to further revitalize our activities.
